SERVO DRIVES

Serad Automation’s servo drives are industrial-grade motion control units designed for high dynamics, precision, and flexibility in automated machinery. Their main product families include the SMD (Smart Motion Drive) series, which integrates power supply, brakes, mains filtering, safety functions and PLC-like I/O for compact, high-precision applications up to about 8.8 kW, and the IMD (Intelligent Motion Drive) series, which extends these capabilities to higher power levels (up to ~20 kW) with advanced motion profiles like S-curve, synchronization and camming. Both series support multiple operating modes (torque, speed, positioning), industrial Ethernet and fieldbus communications such as EtherCAT, CANopen and Modbus TCP, and are configured via user-friendly software with tuning and diagnostic tools. These drives are engineered for networked, high-performance servo motor control in modern automation systems.

AXIS CONTROLLERS

erad Automation’s axis controllers are industrial motion control systems that coordinate and manage multiple servo axes with integrated logic and communication. The MPC series is a PC-based EtherCAT axis controller that combines motion control, PLC functionality, and standard PC interfaces in one unit — handling from 1 up to dozens of axes with support for Ethernet TCP/IP, EtherCAT, CANopen, Modbus and more, and programmed using IEC 61131-3 via Serad’s Motion Studio software. It is designed for complex, high-speed machines requiring synchronized multi-axis motion and advanced trajectory functions. Serad also offers modular motion controllers such as the MCS32ex system, which provide coordinated motion control and real-time management of multiple axes in modular configurations.

LINEAR SYSTEMS

Serad Automation’s linear systems are engineered actuated motion solutions for precise straight-line movement in industrial automation. They include TM series linear motors — compact, high-accuracy linear drives with dynamic performance — and EL/QL/DL linear modules, which are guided linear axes available with screw, belt, rack-and-pinion or linear motor drive options, supporting loads up to ~150 kg and repeatability around ±0.025 mm.
Serad also offers brushless electric cylinders with integrated motors for high-force, high-speed linear actuation. These systems are used in pick-and-place, Cartesian robots, packaging and other automated machinery requiring controlled, precise linear motion.
