To all our valued customers

KDP would like to reassure you that we are taking the challenges we all face with the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak very seriously and are monitoring any new developments and government guidelines on a daily basis.

We continue to remain fully operational and are working hard to provide our customers with products and services as normal. No supplier issues have been identified to date.

Our primary concerns remain the welfare of our staff and supporting our customers.

We have issued the following guidelines to our employees to ensure that they are safe and protected.

Employee Safety

  • High standards of hygiene, regular thorough handwashing encouraged, sanitiser available to all employees and the regular sanitising of common surfaces undertaken by our staff for an interim period.

  • Operating a strict safe distance of 2M minimum is provided in their work areas and expected discipline with co-workers.

  • Implementing home working for staff where possible to accommodate personal circumstances and reducing exposure to other personnel.

  • Employees are not to shake hands and are to practice social distancing.

  • Self-isolation will be insisted for any employees that show symptoms of the virus.

  • External visitors have been limited to essential purposes only.

  • Employees are to inform the company immediately if they have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 14 days.

  • Large gatherings and meetings are to be avoided where possible.

  • Any meetings that are conducted will be via a conference call where possible, otherwise, kept in small groups with safe distances between employees.

  • Couriers are still able to collect and deliver, employees have been asked to avoid any physical contact and practice a contact-free method of exchange.

Business Continuity

  • Our continuity plan has recently been updated in light of the current situation. We will continue to communicate this with our employees as regularly as necessary.

We will keep our customers informed should there be any significant changes to our ability to meet their requirements. We would like to thank you for your continued support and if we can help with any additional requirements to assist our customers albeit as a temporary support for other suppliers, please ask.
