The 731-207 seismic accelerometer and SC4601 IEPE Signal Conditioner form a system for the measurement of low level, low frequency vibrations. This system has the capability to measure micro g levels by combining a high sensitivity piezoelectric sensing element, an integral ultra-low noise amplifier and a matching low-noise amplifier/filter/power supply. Featuring a compact high sensitivity (10V/g) sensor it is ideal for measurements in tight fitting spaces.
Powered by an internal rechargeable Li-ion battery, and housed in a rugged aluminium enclosure, this system is particularly suited for the measurement of low level vibrations in bridge, building, tower and dam motion studies, as well as vibration-isolation table monitoring.
