Founded in Luton in 1971, KDP began by manufacturing custom electronic products for the defence and aerospace sectors.
As the business grew, we relocated to a larger, more suitable facility in Gamlingay, Bedfordshire—where we remain today. With over 50 years in the industry, we’ve witnessed significant technological advancements and continually expanded our products and services, building an invaluable depth of knowledge along the way.
What we do
We are an electronic solutions provider specialising in PCB, cable assembly, and full box-build services.
With strong expertise in motors, drives, and sensor technologies, we deliver high-quality, tailored electronic solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients.

Our facilities
Our factory is purpose-built to support all aspects of design, development, manufacturing, and administration. Production areas include PCB assembly, general assembly, cable harnessing, and cabinet assembly/wiring, while our fully equipped workshop enables prototype mechanical assemblies and small-scale production.
Our air-conditioned laboratory is designed for design, development, testing, and calibration, ensuring products meet the highest standards. Encapsulation is carried out in a dedicated on-site facility, and our stores provide secure storage for general stock, bonded materials, and finished goods.
